Hi dear all....

Just got this gift from Brother in law which came back from Hong Kong yesterday...

Are they know as Blue Shrimp ?




And also the last picture show a Blue color Tiger shrimp, which i notice different from our Local fish shop..

no idea whether they are the real blue shrimps but sure looks like those greens except its blue :) dont think its malayan too as most blues are suspected to be malayan..

anyway i seen tigers with yellow tips also. do tigers have different varients? :confused:

Did he bought these from the same tank/shop? I will be skeptical if they are true blue when I see 3 different type of blue shrimps are sold together. You can confirm if they are blue when the second shrimp spawn. :)

There is a variant tiger with blue taint and there is another variant with nice yellow head and tail.

So far notice i had 3 variant Tiger
Black Stripes
Red Stripes
Blue Stripes

any pics of the blue stripes? sound interesting.. i go almost all are black striped. your picture is blue based. anyway hope your blue give birth soon :D

Yo jo, I agree with that observation.... mainly red, black, blue, sometimes also maroon, orange stripeds...
