As I was posted in other forum. This fissiden able to get in Malaysia and Singapore, as well as Thailand. The emersed form is shorter. And the submersed able to grow into inches.

This is my another 2ft rubbish tank for shrimps. Currently housing Red Nose and Cherry. Plants are crypts, vallisneria, mosses, pelia and fissiden.

Use the normal thread. Sometime i drill a small hole on the rock, then try to get the fissiden stuck inside the hole... :D

The tank was with a piece of mangrove wood. Some mosses n pelia attached on it. But after found i got no more tank to house the fissiden... So just simply throw the rock in. Made the tank look like shit now.

dom, how did you manage to keep 10 tanks in a condo ? i was "thinking" of putting one tank with discus outside my doorstep in near future ... couldnt manage indoor ... too many furniture, somemore small unit with 2 kids ... haiii.... :p

Actually, that's a lie... I saw a post on aquaticplantcentral's forum yesterday that displayed some VERY NICE pix of another fissidens species that originated from Taiwan. It resembles Erect Moss except it attaches to driftwood/rocks. The guy that owns the fissidens species lives in the US, but I think he's asking a lot of $$ to have it shipped to us though... *sigh*

Nano, i m single. Got no wife or kids. Not much furniture also. that's why got place to keep 10 aquariums. :D Actually i m seldom use my dining room. So, placing all the tanks over there. Look like lfs.

Walter, the fissiden grow rate is super slow. I never see such slow grow plant before. I was tot mini pelia is the worst. But this fissiden really killing my patient. I saw my friend growing it to 3cm long...

Retardo, it is kinda hard to send over the plants to state. because i tried few times and all was quarantined or blocked by the state custom. End up all my friends there was making noise, said i never send to them. If you are near to Marge, perhaps i can pass her some and you can collect from her... :joking:

One of the other forum members actually sent me some other *coveted* plant, and it actually made it into my hands. Unfortunately, customs may have opened it and all the water leaked out and the specimens dried out. But sometimes it makes it through, I guess. If not, my sis lives in Seattle, so if you are somehow able to give it Marge (it sounds like you guys have a date!) :D lol, perhaps I can get it from my sis?
