Hello,
I am setting up sulawesi tank, with lots of Lava rocks. Is lava safe? It is quite sharp.
Also I use coral sand and aragonit as bottom, covered with Fujizuna (lava sand).
Will Tylomelania dig holes and mix white coral and Fujizuna?
thnx

Lava rock should be safe, if it is what I'm thinking. Is it red (or black), very lightweight, and porous? My Tylos definitely burrow into the substrate; yours might end up mixing your sand.

yes it is lava :)
But when they are burrowes :) I will not risk it. I really don't want corals mixed with Fujizuna ...

watch your GH when using too much coral sand. I am not sure if they do well in hard water, but ok in medium/moderate hard water. I have a sulawesi tylomelania snail tank too.
