Caught some of them in Cyber Jaya. Just near my office. Lfs selling it as feeder shrimp. Some lfs called it ghost shrimp. What is the scientific name of this shrimp?

Don't know about their scientific names but I do hope you are not keeping with other shrimps. It is known to hunt small fishes and organisms, including shrimps, with their mean pincers.

Yes. I saw they do like eating dead fish and attack live fish. Currently keeping with marble goby, rasbora and esomus. :joking:

Do you see them eating algae? If they do, they can make good algae eating crew, they are free and anywhere.

This shrimp looks like "Macrobrachium lanchesteri".

yup, but have to be careful not to mix small fishes or other organisms with it.. I think this dude prefer meat to algae. :shocked3:

in my tank, those shrimps eat green beard algae. I saw them pulling out from rocks
