I'm setting up a 55gal shrimp tank, but I want to divide it in half. Are there any good dividers out there to keep the little crawlers from migrateing from side to side? I would like to keep water movement though the divider if possible.

You can get the exact measurement and goes to glass vendor to cut a divider. The size has to be very precise to prevent fries and even juvenile to cross over.

If you have yet to setup the tank, cut a glass divider, silicon it.

I was hopeing to be able to use some kind of net, i want to allow water movement between the 2 halves of the tank. Does anyone make anything that will work? I don't mind the DIY projects either.

I don't think it is possible.Because if there is water movement, the shrimplets will go through too.Unless a glass divider ,siliconed, with a netting window for e water to pass through.hope it helps

I have seen some people use plastic canvas (from craft stores) as a divider. You would have to attach it with suction cups or silicone, I assume. You could also make a PVC frame for it, so it fits your tank exactly. That way, if you find the right canvas, you can control the hole size. I think some of the dividers commercially available may have holes that would allow baby shrimp through.
