Today I noticed one of my crs's head turned faded brownish yellow. It is still actively and eating +scavenging though. Is it sick?
The rest of the crs are their usual behavior and colour..
I haven't added new shrimps or plants to my tank recently. Water change is daily. To be safe I did a few tests on the water but nothing showed up. Temperature is 26.5 right now...

whats the size of your tank? Daily change of water isn't too good.
Hope ur shrimp pull through.

My tank is 9x8x8 inches excluding IOS. 988 means a long prosperity! :D
I change water daily because I think it would reduce DOS although I have no equipment to measure DOS levels. Nitrogenous waste is zero. And I'm proud to say that to date I have not had one crs die on me yet! (TOUCHWOOD!!!!!) although I had a couple dead bees because I dump them in without proper acclimatisation.
What water change frequency would you recommend for my tank? :)

How about once or twice a week? It depends of how heavy is your bioload.
Did u check your PH? Too much water change also removes the buffer in the water so as you drain out more water you are reducing KH as well, High PH fluncates maybe?

Because I keep changing water, so the pH was constant at 6.8... just slightly lower than the tap water I get..
My bioload is light.. just shrimps...
I'll slowly delay changing water from now.. hopefully they're be happy! :)
Thanks for you advise. :)
