i used the same reciepy and the saqme bottle in a 1g, 2.5g and now a 5g and its working fine, it keeps the Ph at 6.6-6.8 and nothing higher.

Just a suggestion... why not use seachem excel flourish instead of DIY co2? Works great for me... moss growing like crazy. Just one capful once a week or twice a month (depending cos I only dose when I remember) for my 2ft tank (19 gallon).

Yes Excel does work in some ways. But some plants simply cannot grow well with Excel. I dosing like 2ml of Excel every alternate days too.

In fact moss don't even need Excel dosing and it will do fine. My taiwan and java moss are doing very well. Christmas is also growing but very slow.
