Hi,

Weeping moss is slow growing, needs cool water and grows best if ther is a certain amount of current.

regards

Is the mini Taiwan Moss different than the regular Taiwan Moss? Well, since its called "mini", then I'm guessing that this moss has smaller fronds than the Taiwan Moss, I'm I right?

Hi!Bocca,

As for what you have mentioned mini taiwan moss,
I do not whether is the right stuff that we known as mini triangle moss here
in taiwan, if they are the same as I said.
It grows under good condition with only cool soft water and if you really want to multiple it fast, CO2 supply is necessary.
Here, in summer some people can't afford to own a chiller, and the temperature usually goes up to 30-34 degrees centigrade. They will put the min-triangle moss into a pail or bucket with RO water in it.(RO>reverse osmosis water),cause this water is rather soft and clean, cover with a thin transparent layer of plastic on top. keep it to the refrigerator. The bottom layer of the fridge.take it out once every three days for several hours of under lighting and change partially water to it....and plant them to the tank when fall or winter season comes. This is also another solution to get rid of algae from it.

It works here in Taiwan.ha!
