DIY Beeramid

Im planning on making a "beeramid" type setup for my CRS tank. I am going to use weeping hose and silicon it together.

Does anyone foresee any issues with this?

Hi Ado,
can you please explain what you mean by "beeramid"? All I could find under this name was a pyramid of beer cans and I hardly doubt that they would be suitable to keep shrimps.
