:embarasse Almost a year old. Full of java moss, sg moss, xmas moss, pelia, anubias, hairgrass...etc. There are Tiger shrimp, Blue shrimp, Green Shrimp, Yamato, Cherry and Banana shrimp. Their tankmates are snail, snail and snail... :D

Thousand of tiger, blue, green and cherry shrimplets. But never see the Yamato getting pregnant. It is very hard to rescape since all shrimplets inside there. I just throw all the mosses in there and let them be. Shrimp just non stop having babies....

You can see the algae growing on the tank glass. Shrimps do like stay on and eating. No water change. But just top up the water daily. Temp is around 26-27C. Photoperiod is 8 hours.

Lucky... you leave your tank alone and your shrimp still reproducing. I leave mine alone and my shrimp die. :(

LOL that's always the way -- as soon as one stops caring whether they breed or not, the population explodes...guess there's such a thing as trying too hard when it comes to shrimp. Someone should write a philisophical approach care guide to shrimp..."The Tao of Shrimp" perhaps lol

I do top up the water daily. Fan running for 24 hours. And feeding the sera flake food. Sera cichlid stick n sometime with some carrot or vegetable once per day.

Who said shrimp dont need to feed? They can't really get enough food inside the tank with mosses only. Especially for the female which carrying eggs. They eat a lot. Shrimplets do like to eat everything. So, I make sure my shrimp fed everyday.

What foods do you feed them? I haven't varied my shrimps' diet very much aside from algae in the tank, algae wafers, hikari crab pellets, blanched spinach, and fish flake food. I've lost many shrimp and haven't had a successful brood of shrimp (only 1 survivor in one generation from 15 pregnant females). =(

Hi, no...none of them will trap in the mosses. They do enjoy with this kind of environment. I found the female shrimp carrying the eggs non stop....

Haha cool! No water change. What filtration are you using? Your tank is messy but i really like it! Your shrimps are reproducing non-stop indicating the conditions are really good for them. :)

Looks like I should stop my water changes too :D

My nitrogenous waste is well under control but the only thing I'm worried about is dos (dissolved organic substances). :)
