View Full Version : My New Shrimp Cherry Tank

Hi friend...

I would like show my new tank. Is one tank to my Red Cherry shrimps. This tank have 47 x 30 x 30cm and have aproximatelly 42 liters.

The filtration is only biological and the light is 18W PL brand Boyu. The tank is DIY make to me. The healter in this time dont have, but I go insert one healter 50w.

Very nice setup you got there way to go. By the way what type of Moss you used for this
layout.

Thanks for comment. The moss I used I think is Vesicularia dubyana. I dont know right. But I think is it. :huh:

Hi GhosTs... I use rocks, moss and line of cotton.

In some weeks, the moss grow very and transform in one bealtiful grass.

Hi GhosTs. Yes, i have update. I insert all my Crystal Reds in this tank because other tank broken.:undecided

Now, this tank have Cherrys and Crystal Reds Shrimps, and I insert more any plants. Pictures below...

A very beautiful tank I must say!

This thread makes me feel like building a custom tank myself and scape it for a CRS tank:) However temperature has always been an issue for me though :undecided

what's that at the far left of your last photo? CO2? Those are ferns right? mine sometimes eaten by snails :( had a hard time removing 1 by 1.

Thanks for your comment. The temperature is really one problem, but I resolve with many fans.

Yes. This tank have CO2 with 1 bps and this tank have snails red ranshorn. I like them!

You make putting a tank together seem easy. Nice job with the silicon seams. They look perfectly straight!

Very, and i mean very nice tank. Lovely setup, looks very nice. Wich kind off filtration, heating etc do you use ? Also are you using Co2 on this tank, because all the plants look so very healthy. :)

Great job on building that aquarium, You did a real nice job on the aquarium landscaping.
