Just a quick message to say hello to everyone here. Interesting forum which I look forward to participating in.
Shrimp in the UK are becoming popular, albeit slowly with mainly the likes of Amano and Cherry's around. Hopefully a much wider range would soon be available.
I run Aqua Essentials in England and I am very much considering selling shrimp on the site which is why I am delighted to have found this site. I would love to introduce many species that no one currently stocks!!

Hi from someone else in the UK. :)
I'm in Manchester and theres a few places round here selling shrimp. I got some beautiful big macrobrachium shrimp at BAS in Bolton and a few ships sell Amanos, cherry reds and wood shrimp (filter feeders). There's often some treats in among the cherry reds and it's worth having a look as shops tend to mis-identify them.
What have you got so far? any you are especially interested in finding? I'm after larger macrobrachium species since mine died from either old age or a change in the water supply (lots of chlorine compounds to cope with summer algae blooms).
