Hi , I feed them 2 algae wafers a day , once in the AM and once at night , these are little wafers , like just a bit bigger than this smilie , they go nuts , and eat them all up , but I want an expert opinion to make sure I am not overfeeding , I have heard others say not to feed every day , much less twice a day :embarasse:huh:

not sure about the 2x a day regime... but most recommend to have at least 1 starve day a week... for the shrimps to clean up any uneaten food lying in the tank... i practise this as well... in order to oso improve water quality...

Thats sounds plausible :D I havent given them any today ,, maybe I will make Saturday a starve day , its just so darn fun to get them all to come to the front and watch them eat and box each other lol

How many shrimps you have sharing that algae wafers?that size of algae wafer should be shared with only maybe 6x shrimps. if every one of them get their share and finish within 5 mins that should be ok for once a day or every other day.
