My digital camera can't zoom in such clear picture.......

for some simple and quick answer in a layman's term....

to get nice picture....
healthy shrimp, clear water, clean tank wall, enough lighting at object during image capture, and patient :)

for zooming in....
cheapest way is to enlarge and crop what your current digicam takes.
or u might want to opt for dslr for more magnification using dedicated lense.

anything to add from the guru?
should we continue on a new thread on this topic?..... a bit :bs_offtop

Hi, this is a nwebee qquestion: Is there a grading system for diamond shrimps?
I just started CRS.

I have 6 of them with some cherry shrimps.
these two spieces don't crossbreed, do they?

Hi jebus,
no CR shrimps and cherry shrimps won't cross-breed in your tank. They don't even belong to the same genus. CR shrimps are a Caridina species while cherries are a Neocaridina species. Morphology differences prevent hybrids of these genuses.

Best regards

Robert

Grading of diamond/bee shrimp is similar to CRS, except red is changed to black:

desirable trait:
- extra features like, white tail, tiger tooth, eyes
- larger white portion
- thicker white portion
- deep black

Undesirable trait:
- transparent
