Tiger shrimp doesn't look good

Personally I feel tiger shrimps don't look good.
The stripes are not clear.
Is it because the LFS selling poor quality ones?

I disagree. Tiger shrimps are one of my favorite species. They look very good to me.

Coloration depends... Tiger shrimps will lose/or change the color of their stripes if the water conditions are not optimal or if they are nearing death. I have quite a number of tigers, and many of them have stripes that are clear as day (truly black), while others have stripes that are brownish/reddish. The latter's carapace are whitish rather than translucent, as well. I suppose you could say there are different grades of tiger shrimp as well. If there is, I think the majority of mine are of a higher grade.
