newbie questions

Hi, I m still new in shrimp keeping which I started about 6 mths ago. My cherry shrimp tank is L5.5" x W4" x H7" half filled with pelia and taiwan moss. I have about 18 adult shrimps in the tank. Recently some females gave birth to quite a number of babies. However, I think my tank is infested with bugs - small tiny white things moving around in the tank with a large number of them. How to get rid of them?

BTW, my tank is not aerated with any filter. I changed water (about 30~40%) once a week. What do you guys feed your baby cherry shrimps? I only feed the shrimps once a week with algae wafer.

Next, my CRS tank measuring L6" x W4" x H6" half filled with pelia as well. This I have installed a sponge filter in the tank. The females looked pregnant. Is there anything for me to take note? Same thing, I feed the shrimps once a week with algae wafer and sometime tubiflex worm (they love it)

All my shrimp tanks are kept in the office with constant temperature (24 x7) of 22~23 deg celius.

Is not easy to get rid of the worms, may 2 pc of small fish can help.

If you really want to get ridof those worms, you have to get rip all the gravel.

I do have this problem for the past, after clear all the gravel I feel much better.

I use to feed my shrimps everyday but not much, as for your pregnant just leave it as nature. They will find thier own food in the tank.

O ya, not to do anything now, as your crs is pregnant.

The little round tiny white bugs usually occur in shrimp tanks, they are not harmful as long as I know. Adding one hungry tetra or 2 should help. But do moniter, your shrimplets may be in danger.

Yup. I have put one guppy fry inside .. the mouth is big enough for the bugs but not the shrimplets. Hope the tank would be cleared of the bugs. Thanks everyone for your advices.

Just one more questions, is there any general food made for all kind of shrimps? What is the best food for shrimplets?
