hi guys. recently i just shift my shrimps to a 8L tank to a 18L tank and also i understand that we should not leave our food for more than an hr in the tank.

but the problem is after shifting to the new tank. Whenever i feed them i dont see them swamming all at the food. it takes some time for them to actually notice the food and start eating. even so it isnt majority of the population like what i see in the previous tank.

So i was just wondering could it be there my current in the water is too strong? Causing them problems in sensing for the food? or is there some problem with the new tank

thanks in advance.

maybe they are still adjusting to the new tank....furthermore its bigger now, so sensing the food may take them a while...try to feed the same area everytime...it might help...

Hi,
as they are new in the tank they probably still find enough other food like small algae, bacteria and other microorganisms. So they are not as interested in the food you give them as they were in their old (and really tiny) tank.
So I'd suggest, not to feed too much during the next days.
After some time they will eat more of that food again.
Bye,
Peter
