New Shrimp?

Just got this shrimp from . I read from book that there no science name for this shrimp yet but the Chinese book call them Xmas Shrimp as the dot on the body like xmas light :D:huh:
By the way, they are a bit ugly :undecided:undecided

Hi,
it is probably a Macrobrachium species. If it came from India, it could be Macrobrachium kulsiense which is a small, shy and quite peaceful species. As long as it's not yet known where they came from and if they are juveniles or adults it's hard to tell you which species it is.

Yap the book did say this specie is from India and max length is about 5cm. Anyway I bought 3 of them, hope they will survive well. ;) Thank robert

If I still can remember it is $6 for 3. Anyway, they dont survive even for a week in my mature tank. :undecided:undecided They dont eat any shrimp food except bloodworm.
