Hi all:sunny:, Have a few batchs of shrimplets recently. What i have notice is that, a few of those shrimplets, have actually over grow those born before it.:juggle: And most of them that have grow fast, are higher grade. Is there a reason behind it? :smartass2I might be wrong or something. Anyone have seen the same thing in their tank? Let talk about it:D

I have the same problem but with fish.

All my betta fish are born at the same time (or within the day) but after a month or so, some are twice the size of others.

The shrimplet that eats more grows more and it looks like some are able to get the food more quickly or have the temperment to fight for food more often.

yes, i do have the same thing happen in my tank...
Those bigger size and fasr grow shrimplets always are good in fighting for food...
and the grade are higher...

Hi Shrimper06 and Optimus Prime. That mean, higher grade CRS fight well. Ha ha... And after the fight, they are even more hungry. So eat more.... Thanks for sharing.

as far as I saw, the broods grow more or less homogenous in my tanks. max 20-30% difference in size.
However, I did notice that some individuals are very bright in color (both red and white) from very young on, while others are more pale, especially the white. The bright ones also seem to be more dominant and confident.
This difference stays when they are adult. In they end, they have the same color, but just don't show it the same..

Keep up the observing guys!

Yo TitoC, Ya right. See how it goes. I think its the true that, the better grade have more foods. ANd they are more dominant and grow faster. Cheers..
