Hi Xema,
don't worry.... if you can wait 15-18 days (27° C), you can see the shrimplets. I am also keeping them from 3 month and now many shrimplets are present in the tank.

Nice pictures!!!...
A friend of mine is breeding them perfectly... So I am not worried about... My main worry is spongicola, six days after leaving the eggs and any sign of shrimplets...

Can you tell us how you keep that high pH with that low EC?
I only can keep 300 microSiemens at 7,8 pH.

I am not doing anything special, only keeping a clean water, with pH 7,8 and low EC.
I posted a new video (http://aquatika.bitacoras.com/archivos/2008/05/27/little-cardenal).

Hi Xema,
sorry for the late reply but I was in Germany.
My tap water have a high pH, so I change 30-40% every weeks. For mantaining a high pH I use, also, some active coal in the filter system that I change every 10 days. It adsorbe organics acids producs from the metabolism of the shrimps and snail.
Also I have many shrimplets in the tanks... the old ones are 10mm longer.
