It's been up and running for a while now. Shrimp should be here sometime next week. I replaced my old rocks with all lace rock as seen in the pictures. Should provide them with cave like hiding places which they are accustomed to.

Ph was raised with coral chips under the sand and also a bio bag full of them in my eheim cannister filter.

I will simply replace water when it evaporates with RO water. From what I have read it seems they don't do well with big water changes.

Also for minerals I will be adding that Shikura mineral powder.

You have a good looking tank, but i think on pH 8.0 you will have dificult to make the HC Cuba grow, and fertilizers with sulawesi species is not a good idea.I think HC cuba needs some CO2 and that will get th pH down...:huh: Just my opinion...maybe i´m wrong but i have to tell that to advertise you...
