white worms in shrimp tank

i just started a shrimp only tank about a month or so.the other day i was cleaning and i saw little white wiggly worms in there.they look like tubifex worms but i dont feed them tubifex worms.can they have come from the ec-complete substrate? i cant get a good pic because they are so small. thanks

no they are really thin like a tubifex worm.
