Chiller

Hi All,

Like to check with you guys if i buy a 2nd hand chiller used previously on saltwater(marine) aquarium and like to use it for freshwater tank.

Will there be anything i need to do before using? Anything to take note or look out for?

Setup the chiller to run with a pail of fresh water with an external pump to rinse off salt residue should be fine. most likely might have some calcium deposit within the coil but should not do harm to fresh water tank.

Am I too late for advice?
Advice to me also to use PH down to flush the chiller. Do it few times. Patience is the key.
