Colour of CRS eggs

What is the colour of the CRS eggs. Mine is dark brown. Can you tell the health of the eggs by the colour?

The reason why I asked is because I noticed that the eggs of Yamatos is creamy white with tiny black dots but sometimes the colour is grey. I tend to think that the eggs are not healthy when the colour is dark grey.

Hi,

at the beginning, the eggs are dark brown or dark grey. But as embryos develop, the colour changes. After 2 weeks, you can see that half of the egg is translucent and you can see the eyes of the embryo. A few days before the birth, the eggs are totally translucent. Then it is difficult to see that the female is still berried if you don't pay attention to its swimmerets.

Huh??? How come mine is reddish in colour???? This is the 1st time my CRS is preg with eggs, so I'm not so sure about whether the colours are correct. RCS is yellowish while all others are greyish.

My CRS eggs are reddish brown, but Diamond/Bee eggs are dark brown. Does body pigment affect eggs color?

eggs in the first pic look light brown/greenish to me. eggs in the 2nd pic look red/bright pink.

Hmm.. 1st picture looks light brown while the second one looks dark red to me. :)

Haha yeah, find the colour strange as well. Is it just a varient of diamonds?

If so, is it possible to have a orange banded CRS? :D

I think the color is due to pregnancy, it shouldn't be this color in the first place. Let Jojoecute verify this.
