Bringing shrimps to Canada

Hi ,

I've asked in other forums but response aren't that good. so i'll ask again here.

any knows if i can bring in plants/fishes/shrimps to Canada ?
do i need any special permits or whatever ?
I might need to stop over at US for transit. and i was told by someone that the US won't allow plants to be brought into their country.
Anyone has experience of this sort ? Similar to an earlier post in this forum, i don't think even 1 bee shrimp exists here ! SO i gotta bring them in myself :(

The best way is to call up the authority of USA and Canada to ask what is allowed and the amount. Check at their websites, maybe you can find information you need there.
