Hi all,

I have a population of Fernandois of about 15 total, of which I have lost 2 in the past 4 months. I had them in a tank by themselves at a temp of about 24 c and a PH of 6. Well they looked pretty good healthwise and eat like crazy but no breeding at all. Well i have a second tank with amanos fully planted and with a population of 9. No losses and all happy very active lil guys. Yesterday I i decided to put my fernadoi shrimps with my amanos until i had redesign their tank scape. Well tonight exactly a day after I switch my my fernandoi to the amano tank I found a female carrying eggs!!!. I am absolutely shock!! I did recorded the temp and PH of water for future reference.

Temp of 25 Degrees centigrade with a Ph of between 7 and 7.5 The tank is heavily planted and for lighting I got 4 fluorecent tubes of 2 cool whites and two daylights balance. I will try to get some pictures done very soon.

Cheers

XR
