CRS's color during pregnancy

When my CRS reappeared after molting carrying eggs their color turns into a powery red color. Are you guys seeing something like that too?

I was thinking that the shrimp was sick but after seeing a few of my female shrimps went through that I am starting to think that it might be the pregnancy that's the cause of the lose of color.

That do you guys think?

You are right, female loss color, especially the white during pregnancy. For some of them the color won't be back at post gestation.

That's good to know. May be I should post a photo of my pale Crystal Red Shrimp so prof. shrimp over at pershrimp can say that she's dying too :D

I notice that too for female CRS that start to carry eggs,
even the head change its color and becomes light red.
