Is the substrate ADA amazon good for the CRS? will it lower the PH too much?
my tank is cover with 5mm of ADA amazon with 5mm of depoint mix and another 3cm of ada amazon. should i add a layer of lapis over the last layer or just leave it as it is?

ADA Aquasoil is more stuitable for heavy planted shrimp tank, new soil contains ammonia which make it illy suitable for shrimp tank, for at least a new setup. The ammonia will be resulted into nitrate, if you tank is heavily planted, the nitrate can be taken care of by plants, if not, the nitrate level maybe too high for a shrimp tank.
