I have amano, cherry, green, and tiger shrimp but my eye has been on crystal red shrimp from the moment I saw them. While they seem to be available to you lucky people in Singapore we in the US are not so fortunate. I thought I had some lined up and after months of waiting, one aborted trip, and paying in full I found out they were cherries instead of CRS. While its tempting to give up my quest I will continue searching. All you lucky people with CRS please continue posting the pictures.

I understand you very well. After many months searching them, I will finally have my CRS in 2 weeks. I am really impatient to see them in my tank :D .
Don't give up and good luck for your quest :).

Im with you my friend! I too have the CRS blues! lol
The only way I have found for us to get them here is off of aquabid. They are a bit expensive though (around $7 per shrimp)
Several people on the west coast(california) have been selling them there. I have thought about emailing the seller to try to set something up on the side for purchasing CRS. I need to get my tank started up first though!

Part of the problem in the states is the shear cost of importing in volume. One would need to purchase a few 100 shrimp and bear the cost of airfreight. Being such a large place there are not enough shrimp fanciers in one location for a store to justify the cost. I spoke to one local store that is rather large and does quite a bit of importing themselves. Their suppliers will only ship in 500 lots. When all is said and done he said he will have to sell them at $15.99US ea. For the US this store stocks an amazing variety of shrimp too.
My readings on the internet and watchig Aquabid auctions also lead me to believe that an individual did purchase a large quantity with the intention of distribution. With the prices and number of shrimp the seller has available every week I am inclined to believe they are having a hard time finding enough buyers at their asking prices of $7-10US ea depending in grade.

Jebus,
Do you have picture of the S$5 grade B and A CRS?
At that price, they should be Indonesia bred, CRS from there appears to be COS (O for orange ). lol

This was like the price 1.5 years ago in Singapore, any CRS or even COS costed S$25 each then.
Maybe you would like to visit Singapore and pack a few back home, price of CRS and COS have dropped a lot since 1 year ago. :)
