Congrets! Now you're going to be checking on her EVERYTIME you're around the tank. I'm going through the same right now.

I had a crash of my CRS tanks and lost 7 shrimps including 3 female with eggs. After waiting for weeks I finally spoted a female with eggs last week. Now if I can't spot her for a day I would be soooo worried that either a) she had drop her eggs ( hard to tell my shrimps apart except for a couple with exceptionally bright white stripes ) or b) she died ( they are very good at hiding so I would for a couple of days only see 4 to 5 shrimps total).

She is THE test for my setup if it's CRS safe. If she's sucessful in producing babies then I'll know that my setup is ok. The things that really sucks is that I won't know for at least 3 more weeks. :bomb: :wry:

Again, congrets and good luck! :)

Try feed them with some special pellet once a day.
As on feeding time on pellet all will rush out, then you can enjoy you nite there..

Take a look at my pellets feeding time, all rush out for dinner.
And i enjoy 1 hour focusing at them.

:) Nice looking group you got there! :)

What's up with the psychedelic colored gravel?!!!! HAHAHA :joking:

Just kidding!

What are you feeding your shrimps? I tried all kinda of tablet and pallets and they seemed to change their taste for food everyweek.

They would eat something and then after a weeks or so won;t touch it at all and then some will eat one kind and others won't. They enjoy eating dirt on the floor more I think :P

The stuff I have tried includes: Hikari Crab Cruisine, Hikari Sinking tablet (algae), Spinach, Carrots, Fried Chicken...Just kidding :P

Other shrimps ( Tigers, Cherry's, Bee Shrimps, )will eat anything I give them.

Sometimes it's so frustrating that I feel like getting rid of all my tanks and get a dog! At least dogs will eat anything you give them and then a few you don't want them to have

lol Haha! I believe shrimps got their own interesting points. :p

Hmm.. The stuffs you feed are pretty much the same of what most hobbyists here feed, however maybe you try algae waffers as well?

The most addictive and tasteful pellet for shrimps I guess is the Japan branded one. :)

It had been discussed some time back at the Health and Nutrition forum. Heard from bros their shrimps practically rush out! I guess jojoe's one could be that?

Yes I have all the Hikari stuff. The sinking tablet is the algae wafer. I guess my tank has too much other things for them to eat. I have unfortunately lots of semi-loose algae on my java moss and lots of mum in the gravel.

Sometimes it seems that my shrimps like eating poop more then food....I should try feeding Sinky Tofu! :joking:

Hi thanks for comments..
Those gravel i use are suck, will increase my water PH. But could not get rig of it. Because there are many other shrimplets in it...

Yes Walter is correct, i am feeding those Japanese brand shrimp pellets.
They just love it once i throw into the tank..
