anyone keep this shrimp (not crayfish) and has some pics to share?
i'm looking for it but can't seem to find it anywhere in singapore.... :(

i think that's what the claws are for....prey on anything that moves... lol

Hi,
these shrimps are relatively popular in Germany because they are easy to keep and breed. But be careful, they are carnivorous and can eat live guppys and other small fishes. I would also keep them separated from other shrimps like our dwarf shrimp of the genuses Caridina and Neocaridina. The Macrobrachium assamense Tiwari, 1955 is pretty aggressive.

one year back or something i saw someone post something like this in another forum.. he said he caught it in singapore waters... :D not sure whether it is the same thing though

unlike to be the same.... most likely he caught ghost shrimp with red bandage... lol :joking:

lol... there really is such glass shrimp? with red claws? but i remembered the claws were pretty large as well..

Macrobrachium spp. are prevalent throughout Southeast Asia.
