Those green neon shrimp are stunning. Nevada, do they breed easily and are they sensitive to tank conditions?

Mr Rupert,

for the green neon shrimp, they don't breed as easy as the normal green shrimp. but compared to CRS, these green neon shrimp is easier to breed.
talking about tank condition ... its about the same with cherry.

put the rock in a pail or tank of water....put it outside for it to suntan...add some liquid fert to accelerate if u can't wait... alternatively, tan your rock with long hours of high wattage lighting... lol

just my imagination... :D

hi mitlan,

first of all really sorry for the late reply, i was moving out from Singapore back to my hometown in indonesia. now then i am able to come back to the forums ...

anyway i didnot do anything special with the stone. moss thing when expose directly to light will make algae grow on it. in this case, the stone in my tank was expose to the strong light. It is a 2ft tank with 72W of 10hrs/day. distance from the water surface to the rock is about less than 10cm ... so i am quite sure that because of this, algae start ti grow.

regards,

edwin
