very nice indeed.
is there a need to separate them to preserve the Grades?

Hi,
yes, selective breeding is necessary to maintain this coloration. So you have to separate the shrimps with too less white if you want to increase the white over the generations.
If you just want to keep CR shrimps and want to get some offspring, you don't have to separate them. But then the percentage of such nice CR will be very small and most of them look like "B grade" or "C grade".

Yeah, only those with deep red and 100% coverage of white at second band
can be graded as Grade S.

Hi Stanlee,
If you cross CR with bee/diamond (in Singapore their normal bee shrimps is known as new bee everywhere else and is another species), the F1, so the first generation, will be only diamond/bee shrimps with black and white stripes. In the F2 (second offspring generation), after a sibling cross or a back cross with the CR ancestors, a small percentage of the offspring will be CR but the majority will be diamond/bee shrimps.
If you do an inter-species cross to produce hybrids of bee/new bee and CR, the F1 will be brown-white or black-white. A very small percentage could be red but it depends on the genes of the new bee shrimps. I strongly recommend not to cross them to avoid inter-species hybrids.

Robert

hi,
thnks for your view.
don't know much abt shrimps as of yet, but this back crossing of bee/diamond to the CR , I think is recommended by some forumers to add to the genetic pool to prevent getting worsening of the inbreeding of the CR.
In your opinion , if i just keep all CR in the tank , will they still be able to produce good quality and enhancement of the white pigment with selective breeding , or I will need to add the diamond/bee to enhance the white pigment in future offsprings?
Thanks for sharing your views.

Just note that the first paragraph of what Robert wrote refer to:
http://www.shrimpnow.com/modules.php?name=Content&file=viewarticle&id=2
and second paragraph refer to:
http://www.shrimpnow.com/modules.php?name=Content&file=viewarticle&id=1
And since Bee/New Bee is different species to CRS, it is not recommened to cross them..

The line able to produce the Circle of Sun is not developed from low grade, I bought SS and near Circle of Sun to breed them.

Don't think I can find those kind of CRS in here .... sigh ... The best I can find is 4 band CRS imported from Japan, and you have to indent because demand for those CRS is high. Pretty costly too, +/- USD 17 for one CRS.
