Could someone please tell me what is minimum the tank size that you can successfully breed CRS?

Hi,
I bred them successfully for a couple of years in a 12l tank. But I recommend to use a larger tank of at least 20l or 25l. The more water, the more stable are the conditions.

Hi,
all you need are a cycled tank with stable conditions, a good filtration, enough plants, the right temperature of 20°C till 26°C, no copper or other toxic elements in your tap water, a low nitrate level and a few shrimps of both genders to start breeding. BTW, it would be helpful, if you would inform you in the "Library" and in the different sub-forums of this web site. Later on you can still ask questions.

regards
Robert
