Thread: New rili patern

  1. #1

    Default New rili patern

Hi every one, I have a new (or at least I think it is) rili patern that has an hinomaru dot inside the blank area, it looks really nice and the female that has it more evident is fertile because she is carring egg at the moment, the fotographs are so poor, I'll try to make them better.
My question is, can I take it to the hannover shrimp contets?, if I can... How do I do it?, could any one help me with that?

    Female

    Male or young female.

    What do you think mates?

Same more pics from rigth now

Left side with the hinomaru dot

Rigth side no dot, normal patern.

    Frontal

In this one, you can see the eyes inside the eggs, which confirm that is fertile.

The next Hanover contest is 25th Januar - 27th Januar 2013, they already have the date on Facebook, but not yet on the official page http://www.garnelenchampionat.de

You can submit your shrimp into the neocaridina group, I guess. However, if they open a new category for Rili, you should submit them in this. Nice shrimp!

A very interesting looking shrimp for sure, I can never decide if I like Rili shrimp or not.

I've been inestigating and it's not the first time thismpattern appears, you can see the owner of this bloc that named it as rili dot

Its a nice looking shrimp, I actually like that it only has it on one side as opposed to both . Would be nice to develop it in to a solid dot color in further generations.

Thanks, is getting solid with the age, this was the first egg hatching, and 2 days after the fotographs I saw the shrimplets jumping, is something normal in rili I think, because as much odler as much solid the color, at least in my tanks has been like this always.
