    Some(rare)pictures of my big crayfishes





    Unfortunately, they don't want to breed, I have got them since October 2011...

    Anyone has an idea?

    Any idea how to sex them?

    great crayfish. You gravel is waterplant soil?

    Hello

    Yes, it's Oliver Knott Nature Soil, but it was a bad idea with crayfish that dig a lot (and there's no more plants but floating plants...), there's a lot of mud now. Next time, I will change the soil for gravel.

    Hi kobal. Nice pictures. I had them for a log time but no success in breeding them (I don't know why, I had males and females on a 200L tank). For substrate (related to crayfishes and crabs) I've used two tipes of material: sand from the beach for small species and small rounded river stones for the largest ones (like clarkis). No mud, no floating particles, high mineralized water, and cheapest impossible ^^
