    Default Neocaridina heteropoda "Black Zebra".

    Hello all.
What do you think about this one:

They come from N. heteropoda wild type with strong color, some with white line in the back and some with these "zebra" line. I hope to get some without line in next generations.
The best one could be 100% strong coffe color without line.

    Regards from Spain.

Wow strong colours & great pattern! I also wonder how long it took to develop. My progress getting better blues is pretty slow.
You're on a good track with these genetics, can't wait to see more.
Also I personally would try and stabilise this zebra pattern as well as going for full black/coffee.
    It's really nice like that.

Wow that is simply astounding, congratulations to you! May I ask if it is a stable color strain? That is amazing, best of luck to you. Neocaridina heteropoda is sure becoming a more beautiful species thanks to people like you arnd other breeders.

    Thanks.
a small curiosity the zebra pattern how you have brought it?
Crossing shrimps with full line in the back and without line you get some with zebra pattern line. I have some yellows with "zebra line" too.
How many generations did it take to get such a beauty?
One year ago I found one female with deep brown and solid color among my heteropda population, these are F3 from this "grandma" female.
Nice animal you have alfonso, i hope you start selling them sone at spain, i'll be one of your clients, like other times, kind regards my friend!!!
They are in early stage now, my friend. I want to work in next generations to gets many zebra type, solid type and full lined type.
    I need more tanks.......
May I ask if it is a stable color strain?
Currently, I have some females like this and I am looking for the best males. Hope next generations brings me more shrimps like this.
I am studying the Neocaridina genetics and I think that I could get shrimps chocolate type, deep black ones ( no coffe color) and coffe color. All in full line, zebra line and solids.
    Regards from Spain.
