    Default trip hong kong

    Hello everybody,some of you know already that i am in Hong Kong looking for intresting shrimps and nice habitats. Attached the pic of a shrimp ( Caridina trifasciata) i found yesterday...half of the population was black ,black and white, black and blue.
    I was really impressed

    Hi Chris, the one you posted looks like a Black Tiger shrimp - great, that such nice looking shrimp exist in the wild! Another good reason to protect their habitats, before they get lost...

    do you have pics of the habitats? It will be great to see the environment these shrimps live in.

    The more you show the habitats and the surrounding, the more people can guess where the locations is. Better not show to much and protect that secret habitats!

    Imke,no worries this habitat is not so easy to find even if i show pictures of it.
    This place is very remote and also people are not allowed to go there...just if you want to risk youre life.
    Attached of a shrimp we found yesterday. With us was Alan Leung from the WWF Hong Kong. Also this site is protected and not easy to get there.

    Hi Chris,

    Thank you for showing us some of your findings. Do you intend to add these shrimp to your collection or are you simply catching, photographing, and releasing them?
