    Your pictures are absolutely phenomenal!

    The shrimp are beautiful too. My red cherries are nowhere near as bright as yours are. But it is the pictures that are blowing me away.

    Do you mind if I ask what kind of camera/lens you are using? Because I've been dying to share more pictures of my shrimp but nothing I have can focus on anything nearly as small as shrimp.

    My equipment is really cheap and nothing fancy. I have a Nikon D60 with a Sigma 90mm macro lenses. What made my photos much much better was the purchase of an external flash unit ( SB 600 by Nikon).

    Usually I find most difficult to take a good shot of my blue tigers. They are in an curved front acrylic tank and I have to deal with optical distortions whenever I try to focus with my macro lenses.
    Another issue is that these shrimps are very dark, almost black and to see some of their real blue colour , the light of the external flash must get through their bodies.
    Today I managed to take a very nice photo of 2 berried females...
    What do you think ?

    great work with ur shots. almost seems like they were taken underwater. wouldnt have thought it'd look so clear when taken thru a layer of glass. very nice shrimps as well. awesome stuff.

    what are the parameters that you grow your CRS (ph ppm gh kh temp)?

    Those are amazing pictures...

    I wish I had anything like that to share. I really need to get a camera with a macro lens.
