Hey Morgana, any news from your tanks? We are curious about your Crazy Tigers!

    Okay, you wait for news.

Unfortunatley almost I lost everything .
all at once i had problems in all tanks. Now i know that was a result from selecting to hard.
At last I rescue a couple of shrimps and the number of tanks decrease from10 to 2.
I am very happy that im get a few offspring from them know. They wont as beautiful as the shrimps i showed here, but I know the parents and grandparents had the best pattern and colour thickness ;-). So its enough to have enough hope for future.
I decided to keep them 1-2-3 years without hard selecting for pattern and start a new breeding than.

You see, any news must still wait - but we'll come back :-)

I wish you all the best!

Hello Morgana, soo sad news, my condolences.

But you had problems because of selecting breeding? How many generations have passed?

    Good luck!

    Thank you for compassion.
But dont worry, that is the game we play and we haven't yet seen the end of the matter :-) .
In the past i chosen only extraordinary beauty, of different generations. That was a mistake.
I restart with 50-60 pieces now but it will needs time ;-).

    Hello Morgana,

this is really sad to hear, as your breeding project and your 'Crazy Tigers' inspired the shrimp community a lot, and made others experimenting with Tiger crossings also

By own experience I know all the backlash you can have in shrimp keeping and breeding, so all the best for your remaining Tigers for building up a new breeding group! Multiplying them sounds reasonable to me, as f.e. my Red Bee bred best when I had around 100 of them, and difficulties emerged when I cut down the strain to 30 of the best.

As we know you have a lot of patience and addiction to shrimp, we are crossing our fingers for the future - good LUCK!

How are your shrimps doing a few months after?
Do u have 2 start from scratch or is some alive from the "original" group?

    Thank you a lot!

A few nice shrimps from the original group stayed. But always i have a problem with very high mortality rate of offspring.
It cost a lot of time to find a way out.
At the moment i suspect some of the males to make the unvital shrimplets. I changed them now and must wait again.
