My issue will be with water changes (I prefer to do 25% or so once a week). I wouldn't be able to replicate the exact parameters using crushed coral. BTW Crazy4Shrimps, what is your tap water like?

Havent tested the kH and gH of my tap water. But from what I gathered Singapore water should be soft but pH at 8.7.

    hi rabbit,

I wont say I have good water quality management rather think I am just lucky to get the water parameter right.

    I am using Atman cannister filter and a 2ft x 1ft x 1ft tank.
Cannot remember the bio media i bought. bought them some time ago and they are just some cheap stuff.

    Hi crazy4shrimps,
Under that tap water in most Asian countries is very soft. How do you achieve the ideal water condition for your sulawesi shrimps and do you add any additives?

Adding lotsa coral chips and I think adding Mosura mineral plus does help in increasing kH and gH.
