    Default Red tiger

I saw an auction for these Red Tiger shrimp and couldn't find any information about them.
Are they a true breeding form or are they a variation like the Blue Tigers?
    The seller couldn't answer me.

Hmm...Tigers usually have maroon colored stripes, so seeing ones that color seem unnatural almost. It's either really selective breeding, or the could be a hybrid maybe...?

So those are true tigers? Thats pretty amazing! I also saw "giant tigers" on aquabid the other day, they grow twice the size of normal tigers.

    Red striped tigers breed true.
They are originated in south China.
This is just a tiger shrimp with red stripes.

Thank you guys for the info.
Now that I know, I think I'll give these guys a try.
Why aren't these as popular as the regular and blue?
    Do they require special care?

It´s all a question of time.
Blue tigers were quite rare some time ago and good quality is still not very common.

You wouldn't happen to know who was selling them? I tried to do a search cause the giant tigers sound interesting, but couldn't find anything.

    Thanks,
