Default Which filter for 54L red bees?

Please help me find a good filter for my 54L with red bees!

Not too expensive, but also not too noisy... and I'd like to buy it from some internet shop (not ebay).

Could be a canister filter... Have thought about the Eheim Classic 2213 but don't know if I can change the flow on this model? And don't know if its volume is big enough?
But then Eheim have ugly green pipes... I'd like black ones...

And then there's the eternal problem of shrimplets getting sucked into the filter. I need to avoid this effectively somehow too?!

    Canister Filter all the way
Eden 501 - very quiet, strong and most of all affordable less than 100aud
    Comes with media
    Eheim 2211
i would fill it up with seachem matrix and sponges and probably alittle peat.
comes with no media -price 100
im not sure if you can find it online in your country but you can try?

to avoid shrimplets getting sucked you can just buy some aquarium filter sponge or put some wool over the intake.

    I use 2215 for 45L.
I think Eden 501 maybe too weak for 54L
Bigger size can save up ur time for changing water!!

    Hehe
Yeah, I've bought a filter now, I ended up with Tetratec EX700! And now I'm worried it is too big...causes too much flow. I guess I'll find out! My plan is to add it this weekend.

takes a while to clear the amazonia crap anyway , and the yellowish color only goes away with alot of water changes .

If you bought amazonia 1st generation anyway , heard generation 2 doesn't have those issues
