Wood, I saw that you had success breeding some of the sulawesi shrimp from the planted tank forum. Which varieties have you successfully bred so far? Can you share with us your water parameters, feeding habbits, etc. as well?

    Thanks

Hey. I keep my shrimp in a 10 gallon tank with ADA Aquasoil. PH is at 7.0 and the Temp is 85F. I feed them once a day, normal food like algae wafers.

They definitely seem to like the ADA soil even though the PH isn't high like most say it should be. The shrimp are all very active and healthy. The Cardinal's are always picking the glass and the substrate.

I much prefer using ADA than sand or other type of substrate because I believe that the ADA is more natural to the shrimp.

I may have more money than sense but I am a soldier for Eco-Complete. It has never done me wrong. Plants love it and the shimpers love the security of the plants. So... I spend more money.
