    Default temperature for CRS?

so im reading around and im coming across people claiming different temperatures in which they breed their CRS in

my tank is currently at 74*F (23*C).

i've seen people claim as low as 70*F (21*C) all the way up to 78*F (25*C)

i have a chiller setup so temps arent a problem. what temp do you guys breed at?

    Hi,

in winter some of my tanks are quite cold, the temperature at night goes down to 17*C. Then the CRS don't breed at all. And in summer the temperature in the tank can reach 30*C. They don't seem to like that high temperature because then they also don't breed much. And in summer they need a lot of additional oxygene to stay healthy.
My experience is, that my CRS breed best at temperature somewhere between 21*C and 25*C.

    Peter

Like Peter my temperature does fluctuate depending on the season im using 2x24 watts on a 36cm cube, so the light heats up the tank to 27-28 in summer. Atm its getting cooler in Australia, My current crs temperature is any where between 21-23 degrees drops to about 21 during light off and goes back up to 22-23 when lights come back on.

My temperature does fluctuate quite abit during the cooler seasons, but they don't seem to be bothered by it. They are all very active and show no signs of stress.
But when summer comes and the temps rise there is a problem.

My tank is at 70'F or 21'C (no heater in my Fluval spec V... haven't found I really need one)
I have (9) S+ CRS in there now, and there are always at least 2 or 3 berried' at a time.
With lots of tiny little dudes running around (this tank & colony are only 3 months old)
