Default Sulawesi shrimps informations and pics

    Hi folks,

We have created a new category for Sulawesi shrimps in our species list.
They are new to our hobby and we want to bundle all the informations.
Everybody is invited to help us.
Please use this thread instead of posting in the species list directly.
Fill in the informations and/or share your pics.
Pics have to be loaded in our gallery first.
You can also add species wich are already shown. As more we have as better the result.
Contact us for help or further questions.

    Many thanks for your efforts,
    SN Team

Sulawesi shrimps are totally new and there are more failures than success. I had been success with some species and wrong with other ones, so speaking on sulawesi shrimp we can go to some wrong concepts. I think we need specifying about the area, there are different environment with black water, rain water, alkaline waters and so on. We need speak about shrimp from Malili lakes system and lake Poso.

So, as guideline we can say for Malili lakes system we will need relatively soft water with alkaline pH. Water changes are problematic issues for them, they need stable conditions, so changing water bit by bit will be necessary.
Feeding is another great problem, easy shrimp from Malili lakes will eat everything with large contents of plant and algae stuff.
