Absolutely the best CRS I've ever seen. That would be the ultimate goal I'd set for myself. Congratulations to you

Someone MSN me, he asked me, if I starts to call my CRS to red bee shrimp so that they can fetch better $$ like in some countries. My answer to him is that is not the reason, but because this particular strain deeep red is from a Japanese breeder I adore, in Japan, they almost universally called CRS as red bee shrimp because crystal red shrimp is a registered trademark there, only the trademark holder can use Crystal Red shrimp. Out of my respect for that breeder's work in developing such a fine line, I use the same word he call his CRS.

I never like to tell people mine is red bee shrimp or is CRS, I like to tell people, look at my shrimp picture, tell me if they are red bee shrimp or CRS.

Thank for the interest for deep red red bee shrimp and thank for the good wishes that I will be able to breed them well here. I shall update when they breed and definately excited to see how the offsprings look like, how many % is that deep red and thick white...

I have chosen a deeep red male to mate with other line of mosura crown females, let see what will be the offspring like.

Nishiki Ebi is leading the deep red line now in Japan, though the pattern is not that high end, but his CRS (opps, can be red bee shrimp) can fetch high price. I know the interest on intensity of CRS color (together with pattern) will be high after this wave of pursuing patterns, like head patterns and such. I think it is possible to start you own deep red and thick white line by selecting the best color CRS you have now to breed and continue to refine the color.

As for the discussion of what is the different between red bee shrimp and crystal red shrimp, please keep them to:

I really love the color and pattern of these shrimps. If it had the red eyes, that would be really nice.
