If your shrimp stay transparent, really almost opalescent, then that is the color they will be. I have a very pale shrimp among mine. He's been that way for almost two years. I have a few that are light/red almost coral and some beautiful deep red. There seem to be color variations.

I noticed that this Hawaiian Red Shrimps had the least followings..

Not much was discussed about this species.

I had been keeping these shrimps for over 3 years, started with 29 shrimps, now probably over 200 shrimps in my 2ft tank.

I had them for 2+ years before notice some breeding took place.

I wonder how many of you still keeping these hardy shrimp species?

Many of my shrimps are over 4 years old.
