Welcome to the forum , I remove snails with a net scraped along the glass or use a tweezers, you can also let them collect on some vegetable and remove them. Some snails in a shrimp tank are fine and will eat any excess food; there is no chemical way to kill the snails without killing the shrimp too that I know of. The shrimp will also eat squashed snails.

The best thing to do is to squish the snail one at a time and feed them to the shrimps (one snail per shrimp)

I do that once in a while when it's time for my shrimps to have snail sashimi.

Snails are a good friends for CRS keeper, keep control over-feeding. That is important keeping Crystal red shrimp.

Agreed, snails are good companions for shrimp, but in large numbers they can be quite unsightly... Your snail population will be in direct proportion to how much you (over)feed your shrimp. Restrict the amount of food you feed your shrimp and your snail population should go down too. If you want an instant fix, you won't find one.
