For my personal experience, black diamonds are indeed good to outcross. But this is done only when u have inbreed many generations of CRS(maybe 5 or more generations) and have obtain many weak offsprings.

Thus, that will be a good time to introduce other gene type like black diamond for outcrossing in order to maintain the gene or line of CRS.

I am contantly buying high grade CRS to cross with my current pool, so using black is not necessary.

But I do have some good black arounds, I keep them in my tank regardless of ratio to enhance the white, noticed that I can get good white from Bbxb.
I have some brown CRS in the tank. How valuable are these?

hello....Lets say, breeding from SS grade Red Hinos. you might get SS+ Red W Hino in F2/F3. Pick some of the F3 "female ONLY" to cross breeding with a higher grade Black Male. so the New Bloodline F1 can be so easy to stay in SS grade and hard to drop grade. The new bloodline F1 might have Tea Color CRS also it could be SS+ grade. F2 will be very stable in SS+, it might be a chance to up grade.

I have not checked Howmany : Howmany....but I pick many F3 females and pick the BEST BLACK gen. males into the new bloodline tank.
